While the footprint was limited, our goal was to adapt the space to suit modern living while preserving the original character and spatial integrity of the cottage. We focused on opening up key areas, like the kitchen and dining room, to create a welcoming, family-centered "heart of the home." The design was further enhanced by a double-height ceiling, which gave us the opportunity to introduce a functional mezzanine, adding much-needed storage space.

We maintained a clean, minimal aesthetic with flush doors, shadow-gap skirting, and bespoke fitted furniture for maximum functionality. Polished concrete floors blend with restored stone walls and exposed steel beams for a modern touch.
