INTERIOR DESIGN

Auto CAD and/or Sketch Up Technician

We have a part time position available for an experienced and enthusiastic Sketch Up and/or CAD technician with 1 to 2 years of experience in residential design.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Assisting the design team with space planning, layout design, and production of full working drawing packages
Produce high quality technical and construction drawings, including detailed bespoke joinery
Managing revisions to existing drawings in a timely manner
Checking drawings for accuracy
Performing other duties as required

YOUR PROFILE

Qualification in Architectural Technology, Interior Design, or Interior Architecture
1 – 2 years’ experience, preferably in residential interior architecture
Proven proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Sketch up
Strong working knowledge of interior detailing and bespoke joinery
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Able to prioritise and have good organisational and timekeeping skills
Self-starter who can work independently
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
