Since 2006, Studio Panfili, based in Galway, has been delivering personalized and bespoke interior design services. We specialize in everything from complete home renovations to new builds, as well as select boutique commercial projects.

At Studio Panfili, our approach blends old and new, crafting spaces that evoke a strong sense of home. We strike a fine balance between modern living and timeless, classic style, ensuring every project reflects the unique essence of our clients.

LUIGIA PANFILI

Luigia, founder of Studio Panfili, embodies a blend of Italian and Irish heritage, born in Rome to an Irish mother and Italian father. Her rich cultural background infuses her work with a unique perspective, characterised by discretion and discernment.

Clients seek her out for her thoughtful approach, which encompasses a preference for natural materials and the creation of inviting, timeless living spaces.

With a background in fashion and design, Luigia’s knowledge and experience is matched with a traveled eye and a storyteller’s keen sensitivity for capturing meaningful details.

LORITA O’DONOGHUE

Lorita, an interior designer at Studio Panfili, transitioned from a successful career in residential property to interior design. With a deep understanding of the emotional impact of home renovations, she brings empathy and precision to her work.


Lorita excels at transforming traditional layouts into functional, mood-enhancing spaces. Her expertise in color schemes, fabrics, and window treatments is evident in every project. Currently, she is designing her own home in Co. Clare, applying her experience to create her perfect space.

FIONA LONERGAN

Fiona, an interior designer at Studio Panfili, embodies soft minimalism in her design ethos. With a passion for interior architecture, she creates functional spaces that seamlessly integrate with people's lives.


Clients trust her problem-solving skills and innovative approach to bring their visions to life, whether it’s a modern take to a renovation, or bringing style and substance to a new build.


Having studied interior design at Dublin and Stanford, Fiona has a world view on design but with grá for the Irish landscape from which she takes inspiration for her materials and spaces.


Fiona lives in Kinvara along with her husband Darragh, her three children, two dogs and a cat.

PAOLO GRASSI

Paolo, an interior designer with a solid background in classical studies and a degree from the European Institute of Design in Rome, brings over 20 years of experience to his craft. He has worked in a range of specialised studios, managing projects in Rome, Naples, Milan, and South America before transitioning to a freelance career.


His expertise focuses on bespoke furniture design and interior architecture, where he seamlessly blends aesthetics, functionality, and attention to detail to create unique, personalised spaces.

As a highly skilled interior designer, Paolo is proficient in advanced design software, including Rhinoceros, Archicad, and Corona Renderer, enabling him to create innovative and functional spaces. With expertise in 3D modelling, architectural visualisation, and photorealistic rendering, he brings concepts to life with precision and creativity. His keen eye for detail, combined with a deep understanding of spatial planning, materials, and lighting, ensures that every design solution harmonises beauty and practicality.


Having travelled nearly twice around the world, Paolo draws inspiration from diverse cultures, architectural styles, and design philosophies. This global perspective infuses his work with a distinctive character—each project becomes a tapestry of influences, transformed into something truly original.
